Ingredients
  1. Apple Sauce
  2. Cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
  1. Line a cookie sheet (preferably one with a lip) with parchment paper, then pour applesauce over the parchment paper until it covers the entire pan with a thickness of 1/8-1/4" of applesauce.
  2. With a knife spread the applesauce around to coat the cookie sheet evenly.
  3. Place in a 175 degree oven for about 6-8 hours.
  4. Check after 6 hours. The fruit leather is ready when it can be lifted up from the parchment paper without sticking. It should not be wet or glossy in appearance. The edges typically dry out first, so be careful to check often so they don't burn.
  5. Once the fruit leather has cooled, you can use a pair of scissors to cut the fruit leather into strips.
  6. When your strips are cooled, roll them up and secure with a piece of tape, rubber band or ribbon.
